Possibly a variant of Hemsley.

Mr. Emanuel Hensley, (b. 1835) was an English stone mason from Worcester. At aged 40, he travelled from London aboard the ship "Waimate" arriving in Port Chalmers, New Zealand on 4th December 1875.
