Dating back to Tudor times, famous worldwide for its rock concerts and as the home of Victorian novelist Edward Bulwer Lytton, Knebworth House has been home to the Lytton family for over 500 years.

Bring your family for a day of fun and adventure here. Spend the day exploring the lovely Gardens with a maze and walled kitchen garden. Enjoy the historic Deer Park and huge Adventure Playground with bouncy castle, astro slide and drop slide, zip wire and splash water play features. Younger visitors may follow the Dinosaur Trail in the Wilderness Garden and try to spot the 72 life-sized dinosaurs and prehistoric creatures.

You can also take a tour of the House, where the knowledgeable guides will tell you the stories of Knebworth’s long history and you can find out about the family’s contribution to literature, politics and foreign service and visits by characters as diverse as Charles Dickens, Winston Churchill.

A fantastic fun day out for adults and children of all ages at one of Hertfordshire’s finest stately homes, definitely a 101-Must-Visit site.
