The Bristol Hippodrome opened its doors in 1912 and is one of the country's top, family-friendly provincial theatres, which proudly continues to stage major West End and Broadway productions. This is where a young Archibald Leach first started his career before going away to America to become Cary Grant. Archie was a call boy at the Hippodrome and left with a circus troupe that was appearing here to go to America to seek his fortune which he managed quite successfully.

The Bristol Hippodrome caters for all, whether you prefer musicals, ballet, opera, concerts, comedians or children’s shows, the venue’s busy programme is bound to have something to suit every taste. It offers group organisers an efficient, flexible and friendly service to ensure you get the most out of this wonderful venue. When booking as a group of 10 or more, they can offer you not only the best in service and some amazing discounts but also the added bonus of ‘book now and pay later’, making life as simple as possible.

Given its age, history and wide range of offerings, this is another '101-Must-Visit' for Bristol, but be sure to book ahead to find an event you like and to get your tickets in advance.
