Hello My name is Fiona Malone and my grandfather's name was Dennis Stevens Gorman and he had three siblings Jeffrey, Patrica, and Janet. There parents were Ruth Fering Stevens Gorman and Neil gorman and were living in China until WW11 prompted them to live. Dennis's Wife is Marylin Gorman who currently resides in carmel.

Hello, I am looking for any information regarding Silvester Gormicon. He married Mary Flynn and had 4 children together. All children were bapitised in Meath. Oldest born 1914, youngest born 1832. I have found baptisms for 4 of 5 children, but cannot find anything more regarding Silvester or Mary Flynn.

(Part 1 of 3) The Gorman name has a long history in Ireland, but now DNA and some recorded history says its origin is from the south-west region of the Emerald Island. The Gorman story [dominated by DNA tribal marker R1b-L513, Subgroup O2] can trace their beginnings to what is now County Kerry from 50 BCE. Perhaps the journey begins with the Clanna Dedad; Deda, son of Sen or Deda Mac Sin. The Gorman surname origin is possibly a branch of what will become the Dรกirine [R1b-L513] who are found in south Ireland around 300 CE.
