O'HAGAN Family History
Recorded in various spellings including O'Hagan, Hagan, Hagen, Haggan, Hagon, Hegan and Aiken, this is an Irish surname. Originally from the pre 10 th century Old Gaelic O'hAodhagain, meaning the "male descendant of Aodh", a personal name meaning "fire", Aodh was a pagan god worshipped by the early natives. The great O'Hagan clan originated in the province of Ulster, and the seat of its chief was at Tullahogue, County Tyrone. The chief exercised the hereditary right of inaugurating O'Neill as king or overlord of Ulster. In medieval times, members of the sept were territorial magnates in Counties Monaghan and Armagh, and two places called Ballyagan, (from "baile", a settlement), one in County Derry and the other in Antrim, further locate the O'Hagans...Select Audience

Ephraim (Charles) OโHagan - born in Ireland (Irish Free State?) between 1830-1840. Immigrated to Savannah, Georgia. Died between 1902-1906 in Waycross, Georgia. He was my great grandfather.
Terence K. O'Hagan
My Dad is Terence Vincent O'Hagan born March 30, 1921 in Ligoniel. His father was Patrick O'Hagan and mother was Margaret (Heaney) O'Hagan. He moved to the states in 1948. Only his eldest sister, Jean O'Hagan, remained in Ireland. All other brothers and sisters moved to the states too. I would love to connect to distant relatives.
Mia Thompson
My maiden name is O Hagan. I live outside London with my husband and son but I grew up in Ireland. My dad was born in 1935. His family lived in Wexford in south east Ireland. I believe that there are some O Hagan families in Northern Ireland.

Phillip Hagan born May 15 1940 died October 11 2018. I was always told of our ancestors trip from Ireland and I've always wanted to go meet our family. Very far removed I'm sure. We have been in America for centuries now, but I would love to know for sure if we are part of the O'Hagen clan

I live in Argentina and my grandfather was born in Ireland. His name was Gerald and he studied in Trinity College. He came to Argentina near 1900/1915 to play fotball. I have a photography of that moment.
My dream is to travel to Ireland and to get in touch with family members O'Hagan, Murtagh, Reynods & Ross. They were all my grandparents.
Kind Regards
