This interesting name, with variant forms, Beauchamp, Beachamp, Beachem and De Beauchamp, is of French locational origin from any of the several places named with the Old French "beau, bel", meaning "fair" and "lovely", plus "champ(s)", field or plain, for example, Beauchamp in La Manche and Somme. The surname was introduced into England by the Normans after the Conquest of 1066, and the first recorded namebearer (see below), obtained forty-three lordships from William the Conqueror. Beauchamp family Springpark, Ballycumber, Offaly.
Anthony Beauchamp was born in Ireland in 1780. His wifeโs name is unknown.
Their son Anthony Beauchamp 1806 โ 1884 married Alicia Haddock 1804 โ 1890 from Lockdown, Ireland ?.

Edward Thomas Beauchamp 1830 โ 1906 married Jane Cullen in Liss Church and died in Gilberton, South Australia.
Henry Beauchamp 1832 โ 1925. Lived in Springpark and died aged 93 years.
Catherine 1840 - 1921. Married Richard Mathews in 1870 in South Australia. Their son Richard Anthony Charles Mathews died soon after birth. Catherine died in Walkerville, Adelaide, Australia.
William George Beauchamp 1845 โ 1906. Married Matilda Shaw and they had eight children, Alicia Ann 1875 โ 1965, Anthony Levi 1875 โ 1875, Katherine Jane 1876 โ 1951. William George 1878 โ 1967.Frederick Arthur 1880 โ 1968, Agnes Olive 1882 โ 1936, Henry Robert 1883- 1968, Francis Edward 1885 โ 1958, Percy Albert 1886 โ 1947, joined the Australian Imperial Force in 1915 but was deemed medically unfit for War in 1916, Richard Gilbert 1889 โ 1951. William George Beauchamp was involved in the Brewing and Hotel Industry. He died in Broken Hill, New South Wales, Australia.
Adelaide Ada Beauchamp 1851 โ 1931. Married Richard Hamilton Taylor a Police man based in Clonbullogue and from Cork. They lived on a farm in Carneycommos, Borrisokane and their son Richard Hamilton Taylor emigrated to Sydney, Australia in 1908 and secured work as a Tram Conductor. He joined the 2nd Division, Trench Mortar Battery of the Australian Field Artillery in 1915 and was killed in action near Ypres, Belguim on 30th October 1917.
Adelaide Ada Taylor died in Tullamore in 1931 and Richard Taylor died in Cork in 1922.
Frances [Fanny] Beauchamp 1852 โ 1931. Lived in Springpark.
Robert Arthur Beauchamp 1852 โ 1931. Married Maryanne Grace Williams, from Banagher, daughter of John Williams and Ann Bulfin on 28th June 1892. Mary Ann died a month after birth of Alice in 1895 leaving Robert with three children under three years old.
Their children;
Henry Anthony Ray Beauchamp 1893 โ 1940. Emigrated to Albany, Western Australia in 1926 and married Annie Beatrice Walters in Plantagenet, W.A in 1928 and worked as a Potato Farmer. He is buried in Manypeaks, Albany.
Janetta Beauchamp 1894 โ 1945. Lived in Springpark. She sold Springpark in 1940 and moved to Dublin. She died in Swords in 1945 with her sister Alice Duignan present.
Alice A F Beauchamp 1895 โ 1973. Married Thomas Duignan in Kells, Meath and died in Ruislip, Middlesex on 27th January 1973.
